the launch

this painting was conceived over many evenings sitting on a small rock strewn island in the river the locals know simply as Big Creek.  as the sun set and the light quieted, looking downstream became a window into the Infinite.  the end of the river always far beyond the reach of human eyes, now became even more undefinable and suggestive and spiritual….

this view and this island became for me a launch for Mind.    where one could ease their frigate onto the waters and journey to the light and truth inevitable in the Infinite.   the waters are calm and inviting, the air is warm and soft, the lights strong and unyielding…. please enjoy!
